So, okay. Everyone at Gocomics.com is trying to holler at the screen that Haiku needs to feed Scott rats and mice. But, I can’t figure out how to convince Scott to go back to eating mice (he has before!) when he’s been enjoying delicious chicks.

This is me (Big Al, the gal) with my son Luc! We call him the Chubby Lion. He’s chubby and he has a low raspy voice.

It was fun to introduce him to our beloved ocean.

He loves the ocean! Yay!
Uh oh. Gotta run. He just woke up!!

Today’s Haiku Ewe features our favorite tiny lamb asleep. I must admit I stole the pose from a photo of my sweet son sleeping … like a tornado. It’s one of my favorite photos of him and it always makes me chuckle.
I have been wanting to add some bite (please pardon the pun) to this comic strip for a long time. Finally, I threw caution to the wind and voila: Scott ate a bird.
Sure the bird was cute, but frankly I think cows and birds get a lot better PR than they deserve. I see birds eating unguarded potato chips and I see them sitting on signs and I see their poop all over my car. What do they give back? Nothing. Name one thing birds give back. Exactly.
Cows give milk, meat, leather and some other stuff, but I still think they’re overrated. They seem humble, but they aren’t. They’re just playing us.
In short, it is indeed rude to eat dinner guests. However, if your dinner guest is a bird, he is probably thinking about how he would eat you if he were a little bigger. In that case, I think it’s okay to eat your guest. Perhaps I should make some time to Google the etiquette in such a situation, but for now I will go with my gut. Please pardon that pun too.
